About Potential, Responsibility and Hope

Assalamualaikum, hi how are you doing? This entry is about my work journal. So you will not find any recommendations, reviews nor facts here.
Last week I was fully occupied with work. Since December is approching us, we have to speed up our work progress. KPI is one of the mechanism used to monitor our performance. Eventhough I hate KPIs but, what to do...still have to achieve the minimum requirement for bonus entitlement. Sucks! ikr. Last week our department have a 2 days brainstorming session ; performance analysis and to plan for our next business model. On the first day, we got a chance to hear a presentation from a billionaire conglomerate from India. What an opportunity! Our company is seeking to venture business in India. It's great to hear! On the second day we got a brainstorming session about our services. I came out with a pricing model ideas. It such a pleasure to hear a compliment from my boss about my idea. "Brilliant idea" I did not hear wrong right? *insert blushing emoticon* At the end of the session I was picked as GST talent along with my another colleague, Mr.S. My other collegues start to tease me about going to India , will have to work with Mr. Shah Rukh Khan, buying saree and bla bla bla. It's nice to hear but this opportunity definitely comes with responsibiliy. I don't put much hope about going to India but I will definitely have to prepare myself with knowledge and skills. It will really test my "willingness to learn" as what I always said during my many interviews. Pheww To be honest, I am not ready to be a GST consultant just yet. I feel that I still have to master in my current area;accounting. I know that accounting and GST is interelated, but ... nvm. Will see how I progress in next year as GST Talents first. Pray for me.
